The Co-operative Wholesale Establishment was established in 1949 by an Act of Parliament and comes under the preview of the Ministry of Commerce & Consumer Affairs.
This establishment is also known popularly as SATHOSA. SATHOSA being a large public sector importer, exporter and distributor of essential commodities, agricultural produce and other value added products, plays a vital role in the nations economic development. Due to quality services and products provided by the CWE, it has won a favorable reputation locally and internationally.

What was the problem with CWE (Co-Operative Wholesale Establishment)?

CWE were loyal customers of Metropolitan since 1983. They switched over to competitor products in 1995. However, they were not satisfied with the after sales service provided by the vendors & the island wide coverage offered by other suppliers compared to the network of Regional Business Units.

CE-7000 and CE-6100 to be connected to the PC and obtain sales reports from the PC.

Reliability between Casio & Metropolitan.
Metropolitan group has it' s own offices in 12 different pats of the country. These are funded & managd by Metropolitan for the benefit of it's customers. The sales & the technical support is given by these office.
The key factor is good relationship with the CWE for over 15 years. Since then Metropolitan and CWE have had good relationship.

They are very happy with quick calculation and receipts issuing by CASIO cash registers and also happy for good after service by Metropolitan.
